  3. That's a good idea, but are those people going to be able to pay you anything? You might as well try to get a job with a place like Legal Aid or some other nonprofit that helps poor people. It's been 2 years so I hope things turned out well for you!

  4.  @williamfairfaxmasonprescot9334  You can try to work as a paralegal/legal assistant without necessarily having to go through those paralegal certificate programs. When I worked for small firms, 95% of the legal assistants had no paralegal training; they learned on the job and the owners didn't really care about the degree/certificate. Just try to find a job with law firms instead of wasting more time and money getting a certificate you may not even need. Good luck!
