  19. ​ @debbiemartin2026 yes, thank you. Charlie refers to his older brother as an a-hole and says to their mom that something is "off" about him. This brother is a successful doctor who has cut off ties with the rest of them. Meanwhile, Charlie is in jail, & likely to be convicted of murder.

  20. ​ @TheSkeetergirl yeah the other CourtTV broadcast that I saw today also kept saying there was a custody battle going on. Custody had already been ruled on about a year before Dan was murdered. I guess calling it a murder from a "custody battle" makes it more sensationalized & is a quick soundbite, but it is incorrect.

  22. 14:40 Sigfredo Garcia did not flip. He has not testified at any trial and has filed a motion for post-conviction relief. Thank you for interviewing Ruth Markel, who has exhibited grace and strength throughout thus horrible ordeal. Dan's family is the antithesis to the Adelsons.

She (allegedly) cleaned out her childhood room in her parents' home a few weeks before Dan was murdered and strangely told Jeff she wanted no contact with him for a week -- probably so she could pack up her house & plot with her family without him around (imho). 3 days after Dan was shot, she left Tallahassee with the children and her parents for S. Florida.

  42. The "custody battle" narrative is wrong. They had 50-50 custody, and the judge already denied Wendi's motion to relocate the year before Dan Markel was killed.
