Name some of the ways Beijing is trying to unite peacefully. Of course, Taiwanese people want democracy and freedoms, not independence. They have seen how democracy and freedoms are working in Hong Kong now. All Beijing needs to do is recognize that Taiwanese people have a right to democracy and freedoms. Declare that Taiwan is a part of China. And ask the United States to fxxk off. If Beijing cannot handle democracy and freedoms in Hong Kong, then they have no chance doing so in Taiwan.

  14. Cyrus, you mentioned about freedoms in China. The definition of freedoms are greatly different between mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Hong Kong ad Taiwan deserve their share of freedoms too. Although all 3 are part of China.
