Thanks for sharing. You make us so proud ❤ as Chinese living in Canada. There are street food festivals as well in Toronto. The quality of the food is amazing, just like China/Taiwan/Hong Kong.

@willchu Agree with you. We go to carnival for the fun. But we can have cheap street food in many food courts.

I am equally happy that the Michaels are back in Canada.

@yasimola9720 It is time for CCP to put people's lives before politics.
2
@yasimola9720 Let's be blunt. Whether you like it or not, the Chinese people are harmed by the government Australian coal embargo.

@Shenzhou. trust us. Street food festivals in Canada are as good as those in China/Taiwan/Hong Kong. The quality is amazing.

@Shenzhou. Street food used to be VERY cheap in Hong Kong. Street food In Canada is different because regulations don't allow selling in a cart or truck. You have to go to a proper restaurant or carnival to get it. Hence it is more expensive.
1
@Shenzhou. of course. The regulations on both countries are different. There are many street food restaurants or food courts in Toronto that are cheaper than carnivals. And unlike in Carnivals they open all year around.

@chronicmasturbator2749 very happy that the Michaels are back in Canada.

@Shenzhou. In Toronto carnivals, many types of street food are available. The atmosphere are rocking. Not just Hong Kong style ones, but western grilled ribs (always popular), Taiwanese ones, Japanese and Korean types. Drinks (bubble teas). Different desserts. Many types of local Canadian snacks. Different kinds of fries. We come for the variety and for the festive atmosphere. There is an annual carnival called Canadian National exhibition (CNE) in August and the food building is EXTREMELY popular (and overpriced). Too bad the last 2 years were canceled due to COVID.
1
@Shenzhou. But if you are just looking for just (say) Taiwanese street food, then may I suggest you to go straight to the restaurant to save money. It is also opening year round.
1
@Shenzhou. yes. He loves street food all over the world. Some are not available in Canada.
1
@Shenzhou. You should come to Canada and enjoy the Chinese food here.
1
@Shenzhou. I have been to China many times already, enjoyed the food, although I found the food in Hong Kong (part of China) is better.
1
@Shenzhou. To be fair. The Chinese food in Canada is excellent. Cyrus can attest to it.
1
@Shenzhou. Of course. Some Chinese food are not available in Canada, some Canadian food are not available in China. But with the global communications, they're few and far between. The food that Trevor couldn't find in Canada including rabbit head and coconut worms. Maybe they're available in China.
1
@Shenzhou. I have been to Guangdong several times but found the food to be not as good as Hong Kong. But they're cheaper.

The blackout in China is affecting a lot of provinces. Millions of Chinese have been affected. No electricity for cooking. Hopefully Australian coals would help the crisis. China and Chinese deserve free trade. It's time to put people before politics.
1
@Shenzhou. If authentic Chinese food is Rabbit head, then thanks but no thanks. I will give up my allegiance to China rather than eating authentic Chinese food. Will stick to (part of China)LOL
1
@Shenzhou. Rabbit meat is fine, but rabbit head is too much. Thanks, but I honestly don't know that food in mainland China is that horrible.
1
Absolutely agree. Glad to see that after Biden took over, the confrontation with China has reduced. US people definitely chose the correct president in 2020.
1
Freedom cannot pay your bills, but Freedom is the reason many people left Hong Kong (part of China) in the last year and moved to the west.

@yasimola9720 Cyrus is a big supporter of free trade. Tariffs and trade war will only hurt the Chinese.
