@bobbyward2440 Can you describe how the Chinese youths are not happy with the CCP? Thanks. (I live in Canada but with family ties to China.)

@TheExtraterrestrial99 what are the alternatives if people are not satisfied with the central government? Just like Russia, North Korea, there are none.

@cyprianuslilikk.p.7937 That's not true for Taiwan. Young people tend to support the DPP government but older people support the KMT.

There's a part of China of which the Chinese people asked for democracy and the government provided democracy.
2
@francisarinze6928 That's easy. If you're truly unhappy with BOTH Democrats and Republicans, then vote for a third party. Many Americans did. You should be glad that you don't live in a country which mandate a one party state.
2
@TheExtraterrestrial99 the answer to your question is yes. We have different options and that's okay. You should move to China and will do well on it.
2
@bungkusi2432 In that case, was Mao Zedong "for the people"? Was Putin "for the people"? Was Hitler "for the people"?
2
@cheongwenpa agree with you. Singapore has a very smart government.
2
@Wezwp how does north Korea one party state doing?
2
@jimmielin1141 People are definitely not the master of China. Just ask the people of Shanghai.

The poll results were not surprising.Chinese people historically and culturally have strong support of their government. Even during the tormutulous Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution periods when millions of citizens died, Chinese people still follow and respect their leaders.

@georgekelmeris9804 China is a dictatorship trying to satisfy the population. This is not the definition of democracy.
1
@TheExtraterrestrial99 Many CCP members tried to climb up. Why some succeed and some don't?
1
@alifkazeryu8228 Working in China is tough. Thanks for sharing.
1
@TheExtraterrestrial99 So, do you like one party rule?
1
@TheExtraterrestrial99 For many democratic countries, popular vote doesn't lead to presidency.
1
@alloomis1635 China is a dictatorship that tries to satisfy the needs of the people. This is not a democracy.
1
In part of China, you can change the government AND you can change the policies.
1
According to the polls, 71% of the Russians supported Vladimir Putin back in February 2022 (just before the war). Does that mean Russia is democratic? Opposition parties are suppressed in both Russia and China.
1
@bungkusi2432 I never said Hilter and Mao are the same.
1
@bungkusi2432 Is Kim Jong Un "for the people"? He said he is.
1
@Shenzhou. The problem is. Although we all know the POSITIVE SIDES of Mao Zedong, many people choose to ignore the NEGATIVE SIDES of Mao.
1
@Shenzhou. Singapore has its own foreign policy independent from other countries including USA. It emphasis on sovereignty of countries. That's why it is friendly with China and put sanction on Russia. The support of sanction by Singaporeans is overwhelming.
1
That's what Vladimir Putin said he did. Is Russia democratic?
1
Good point Entertainment Joke.
1
@QuentinKLEau that's a good point
1
Precisely. It would be misleading to call China a democracy.
1
@Shenzhou. How do you that most of the people in Shanghai accept the lockdown? Do they have any other choice? Can they vote out the government?
1
Julian Many people in China, including some that comment in here, are ignorant to the fact that 40 million people died in the hands of Mao Zedong.
