@zl4384 中國的年輕人比較現實,也很難怪他們。

Confucius ideas were badly cracked down by the Chinese Communist Party in the 1970s.

Chinese people, especially the younger generation, are worried about the Chinese economy, not the UK one.

@onosnow6500 neither UK nor Chinese economy is going to collapse. However, the Chinese economy is facing a lot of difficulties. The Chinese youth unemployment rate is alarmingly high (to the point the government stopped reporting it), much higher than the corresponding rate of UK. The stock markets of Shanghai and Hong Kong lost more than 10 percent last year. How did the London Financial Times index do last year?

@onosnow6500 China tried decoupling with Australia back in 2020, cutting off coal and iron ore imports. It backfired completely, resulting in multiple power shortages in China. I honestly don't think UK politicians will make these stupid mistakes.

@onosnow6500 I don't quite understand. If UK politicians are subservient to the USA, then why are the Palestinian policies of the UK and USA so different (especially in times of conflicts like right now). Please show me evidence of subservience. I really don't get that. Have you ever been to China and see how the politicians there behave? China's decoupling did a lot of damage to the population, but no politicians were punished.

No country will sustain explosive economic growth over a prolonged period. The Chinese housing crisis and local government debts remain serious issues heading into 2024. Slowdown is virtually inevitable. Will it result in economic collapse? No way. The foundation is strong enough.
