  1. China has been the main trading partner for North America (including USA) for a long time. So it comes as no surprise that Latin America will increase its trade with China. Just because you trade with a country doesn't mean you agree with their political system. For the record, Taiwan trades heavily with China as well.

  2. @nanyanguo1  But in the 1930s, the southern countries were basically local and isolated powers. Most of the conflicts were occurring in the European theater. Mind you, Brazil declared war against Nazi Germany in 1942.

  3. An example of the Multipolar world is in the 1930s. The world has democracy (United Kingdom, France, United States etc.) VS the autocracy (Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, Facist Italy etc.)

  4. @john smith  everyone knows the food standard violation is bogus. People in Hong Kong and Macau had been consuming the same food (pineapples, packaged tea, breads), and nobody got a problem. Taiwan didn't retaliate the sanction. Should they?
