  2. United States Secretary of state Anthony Blinken met with leaders of the Palestinian authorities and the Israeli government to work out a peaceful solution. In the meantime, the Chinese government didn't meet with any of the warring parties. China is a great country, but with great abilities come great responsibilities.

  5. @CyrusJanssen  United States is undoubtedly working on a ceasefire, but although it's unquestionably the biggest ally of Israel, it is doubtful if it would work. Absolutely agree with you that Netanyahu has mishandled his response after the October 7th attack. He should have looked for a political solution. Kind of like China (being the biggest ally of Russia) is unable to stop Russia's invasion in Ukraine. There are just too many killings in the world now.

  11. It has been proven over and over that Israel's military persecution of the Palestinians never results in peace. This is a political situation. Even all 5 permanent members of the United Nations favor the 2 state solution. Hats off to Professor Jeffery Sachs had proposed an outstanding long-term arrangement
