  1. That was a blessing! I was driving SB on US 1 and saw what looked like a wreck with people on the side of the road and NB traffic halted. No one had called HP at the time - no emergency vehicles. I called HP and said "you probably know already but there's a glider on US 1 NB in the road." He said he didn't know about it. So thankful the NB traffic that flies up the "Cary-Chatham Speedway" was paying attention. It was hard to take a hard look while driving as I didn't want to rear-end the cars in front of me slowing down either. Glad we're all safe!
