  2. Wouldn't even call it 'gains' when you just run into the kill zone of a layered defense and are not even able to overcome the first layer, which solely exist to slow down. That's like trying to ram down a door, but then fall over your own feet before you even reach it. Just pushing into the kill zone of a defense is even worse than just not attacking at all.

And even though my country killed over 27 million soviets, 2/3 of that civilians, they forgave us. Borderline angelic to do that.
