@ali-haider5788 No, it didn't. Russia brought some few thousands soldiers there. It's absolutely impossible to take a 3 million city with such small amount, even with 10 times as much. This alone makes 100% clear that Russia never went for Kiev.

@cguerrilla7315 The numbers are clear, there is zero doubt. Russia never went for Kiev. It's like saying that someone who throws a stone against a window tried to destroy the whole building with it. Obviously not. It's simply impossible.

@JJRM8 Russia never even tried to take Kiev. You don't take a 3 million city with some few thousand soldiers. It was distraction to force troops stay in and near Kiev, giving the actual assault the free room to take all the land up to the fortified lines.

@JJRM8 Both were NATO dogs since decades. NATO actually lost with this, since they lost the possibilities to sell them as "not NATO". Finland and Sweden mainly won to pay billions of Euro for nothing, just to be marked for instant anniihilation when USA ever goes insane enough to start 3.WW. They will be destroyed the first minute, simply to minimize the risks. That's all they got from it.
