  3. Makes indeed no sense, he didn't have the insight and overall: if a journalist would have, that's the problem of the army to allow that. It's absurd enough to think that Russia would give a single fuck about social media when it comes to surveillance. They got satellites, planes and tenthousands of drones, while social media is full of garbage no sane person would trust.

Russia isn't running out of weapons at all, it's more about how much it is willing to lower it stock piles, since the REAL enemy is of course NATO North Korea got a lot of weapons - since the USA army that almost genocided it seven decades ago is still waiting there wih quite an army in its proxy nation SK - but overall will likely not use them (even more because while China may not care super duper much about NK itself, it will never allow the USA to claim it. Means: they got a lot of stuff lying around, that will rott before used, so someone taking it from them and given them some nice trade goods in return is a good deal. On top of that it's good marketing, showing how their stuff indeed works.
