Ukraine is doing a lot of what you could call meatwave, just not in the typical offensive way. Take that small area across the river. Absolutely pointless to hold it in the first place. No way to go there with heavy equipment. But they kept sending in soldiers, no matter that many died just on THE WAY there and with ZERO chance to hold it. You could say the same about the towns - at least at that point where they were surrounded. To not pull out then and instead keep on sending soldiers into that 100% death trap, that's meat wave. A cauldron is the worst situation you can be in, but the coup regime tends to even create those for themselves when they attack. They even did that 2014 and 2015, when it was just against the people in Donbass, what was one of the main reasons they were not able to succeed. And likely all who go against that insanity they just get rid off.

@Wlof25 For the delusional every movement of some soldiers is a "meat wave", what is of course absurd. If anything than sending soldiers into a hopeless endevor with close to no support and chance of success beside the idea that you just overwhelm the enemy by your own corpses, that's what "meat wave" is. So what you see from Ukraine over and over again, like not retreating from a cauldron, instead sending in more cannonfodder.
