  2. Main reason for the push in Thorium reactors seem to be, that the USA got quite some Thorium - while its oil and gas reserves are vanishing. So they got that idea, that they could and must replace it that way. Thing is, a lot of shit is pushed in the USA and then leads to nothing and in the end there is no way around to harvest the energy of the sun, either directly or via wind and water.

  3. Obviously harvesting the energy of that giant fireball in the sky, so big it is hold together by its own gravity and constantly bombarding us with absurd amount of free energy, only stopping to do that when it will kill us.
