Comments by "Miriam Weller" (@miriamweller812) on "Did DeepSeek burst the AI bubble or will the Stargate Project make it worse?" video.
You likely need (a real) AI to ever have a chance for something like a Stargate. Not even because humans are too stupid for it, there is only so much intelligence can rach, since you can't really over-understand something. But a real AI could and would combine the thinking process of million and billions of people if not more, without wasting endless energy on "this is mine! I won't share it!" The thing AI will easily stomp us with is collaboration. Something humans are rarely willing for out of fear, greed and stupidity.

Who cares about piloting drones? That's not really something you need an actual AI for.

"Markets doing there thing" - you mean selling decade old garbage with no paint for more money and avoiding research at all cost possible as long as you can milk the old market? Oh, and of course making everything worse so it fails more and more often, because that way people have to spend a lot of money on repair or replacement. Market solves nothing but keeping the money flow into the pockets of the oligarchs and even if oligarch A fails, then oligarch B and C still profit from that.

Those are not really a reason for all the fake stock market value to drop.

@SabineHossenfelder His (ridiculous) Mars mission already exists to pump money into his pockets. Just like everyting else. It's not really anything new. Neithe for Musk nor our western system in general.

Only thin I here the usual fanatic cry about it is "TAIWAN!" and alike, because they are too stupid to learn anything new. Biggest problem they got with it is it being too honest anyway - what of course is already sheer heresy for propagandists.

Bubbles got nothing to do with the objects that are put into it. Bubbles are simply a core system of capitalism, which is all about making "money" for very few people, no matter in what way. To put it simple: a capitalist would sell shit for 1 million dollars a piece if he could and without any care about the damage done to others. Of course selling shit for 1 million dollars per pile is a bit obvious but that's the general mechanic. Mostly for it to work you need something with at least some value, either real or made up and then just try to sell this for as much as possible. That's how the "bubble" is created. Most of the time you even got something of real worse, for example a million, but they will say it's two millions worth instead, or 10, or 100 or even one hundred billions if you let them. They would even take the whole planet and eternal servitute of every human being in existence now and in the future, if you let them. And we do let them - step by step...
