I mean, boys are still told to stfu and just take it, swallowing their emotions. Often enought the violent men has been a boy before who was mistreated like that, swallowing his pain until not able anymore, using violence against himself or others. And yes, of course there is a massive difference with not wantin to grow up from girl to woman or boy to man and transsexuality and that should be very clear and be focussed on, because if you don't analyze this before and start with hormon therapy or even surgery, that obviously leads to even bigger problems when the person isn't actually transsexual. It's the same thing as not making sure that a person needs and other kind of surgery and just do it or giving the wrong medicen to a person who doesn't need it. This also happens over and over again - too often.

I mean, what's the surprise to see a (not even big rise, when you take the total numbers) in an area that was UTTERLY ignored, if not worse. When you grew up 20 years ago or so, the whole idea about being transsexual or whatever, was just some personal "well, seems I'm somehow crazy or whatever" thing for many people, especially children, simply nothing you talked about with anyone.

@IMDBMATTY01 The thing is, you always have people who lie on purpose or thought something and changed their opinion afterwards or whatever. You got this everywhere in all fields and yes, there are for sure people who think about changing sex as some adventure or whatever or as children simply don't like the idea to grow up as woman or man. That's why you need consultation and help, to make sure it's nothing like this. You are born with transsexuality. It's as little a choice as being homo- or heterosexual. It seems a big problem is, that in fiction transsexuals are mainly crazy people. Some murder guy who skins women in the Hannibal Lector movies or whatever. So many people got that idea in their head, that transsexuals are just psychopaths. That's why this whole "Men in the women's bathroom!" thing is so big. As if an actual criminal would go that long way to pretend to be transsexual and, you know, not just ignore the sign at the door.

@KostasG-nt9pe Fun fact: they stoppped to check genetic, because quite some female athlets were genetical male with a Y chromosome, but the developement didn't work out so they still developed a female body. You people overall do get, that our right wing system is pushing such things on purpose to distract the stupid masses with hate on minorities - as they do since thousands of years.
