  2. There is land ice and sea ice with land ice being the real problem, because it's loss is raising the water level by much more than sea ice. While there is some growth in sea ice level now and then (what has borderline no effect on sea level, since it already is in the ocean), there is a constant loss in land ice level and such losses add to the water in the sea.

  3. Ice isn't ice, Sea ice mass is pretty much without any importance, because it's already in the ocean. Land ice meanwhile adds pretty much 100% to the sea water level when it melts and it constantly does.
