  2. Wasn't Putin or anyone else who killed the Petro Dollar, but the USA itself. It overplayed the cards it had. When they started to try sanction the big players into submission, that was the end. You can sanction Cuba, North Korea, maybe even Iran, but when you start to sanction Russia and China and even worse, openly steal their money and pushing them out of the international payment system, you simply give them no reason anymore to follow along witht he status quo and they are far too big and powerful to be forced into submission with threats and violence.
