  1. Taiwan street is right at the coast of China and - as the name says, that gap between China mainland and Taiwan, overall pretty shallow water for an up to 180km gap. China sees it as part of their territory and even if you argue against it, it's like sneaking to the US coast with a warship - and hell, they already cry about balloons there.
