Putin is re-elected because he saved Russia from the west and massively improved the lives of Russian, even against all tries of NATO to change that. Not really compareable. It's funny anyway that people make a big thing out of it, as if for exampel Dems and Reps have changed in any way, just because they changed the poster girl at the top.
