@googlesucks925 Socialism = economical equivalent of democracy = power by the people. And no, actual democracy, not elections, which are at best a potential tool. If you are against socialism, you are absolutely against democracy, because economy is the most important part in a state, since people need things to live. If you control the production of these things, you control the people who need them. So to have democracy, you NEED socialism. As long as the economy is ruled by oligarchs who just buy any party you vote for, you can't have democracy. And now guess why they love to throw around the term democracy while doing everything they can to make you hate socialism...

@PMB-hm7pc Left simply means that you follow the general human rights. Right means, that you not accept general human rights, because you divide people into those who are mere servants and those who are destined to rule over them. That's all. There is no more meaning in it. It's just two word who part ideologies into these two sides. Left = "All humans are equal in worth and by that no one is allowed to rule over others or exploit them" Right = "Humans are different in worth. Only few are chosen to be rulers (especially us of course), the rest are servants, this is the natural order." That's it.

@infjintegrityvsnarcissism7295 The USSR was right wing by their power hierarchy, but they got some left wing parts, for example housing for all, health care and alike. Overall, the USSR was pretty much constantly threatened by the west in the worst way possible, annhihilation, so it's not like they could even start to develope an actual left wing system, which are not made for far.
