  2. Turkey is member of NATo since 1952 - and even had US nukes stioned there. Just look at the small distance to Russia and even less to the Soviet Union. It was THE reason for the Cuba Crisis or better for the Soviet Union installing nukes in Cuba, because US fascism did it first - as the actual aggressor. Just like NATO was created YEARS before the Warsaw Pact, YEARS in which the Soviet Union/Russia tried to get a peace treaty, but the west denied, because peace would have meant, that all foreign armies go back home.
