@estherruth4692 How many peopel do even eat like that to make a study about it?
Those food studies are often a joke anyway. They simlpy take ill people and ask them what they ate - starting with the problem, if that is even true, if the peopel remember right or really want to tell and of course what these people also have done and may be ashamed off.
Overall cancer means that something in your body went horribly wrong plus your immune system being unable to handle it. The body got row after row to kill off cancer cells, but something all of them fail.
A big reason why we got more cancer might simply be Vitamin D deficiency. You need UVB radiation to produce Vitamin D (and the body can produce a LOT of it, easily 25k units per day).
But we meanwhile mainly sit inside and for good reasons we want to protect our skin from sunburns, what means we reduce UVB what means we reduce Vitamin D, the fuel for our immune system.
That's not even the big problem, since Vitamin D is easy and cheap to produce as supplement. But for some reason (probably the "cheap" part) we don't talk about that.
We in general don't really talk about the real elements, the Vitamins and minerals. Many people have deficiencies - and you could easily get rid of that.
You don't have to start to talk about the toxins you take, when the general supply of what you need for healthy living is already bad.
And that's not something about processed or "real" food. You can easily produce processed food that IS healthy, even healthier than real food. They just don't want to. Bigger profit to put shit into it and hell, the more peopel die the better, too many anyway, no? If you want to get rid of people, just make them eat shit.

@kylea1436 Early humans simply did not even know what cancer is, the just died for no known reason.
But that's not the point anyway.
Our digestive system is not made for plants. We don't use them well at all and without modern economy, only eating leaves, fruits and nuts when you might be able to get them, would be quite the mess and lead to an enormous deficit in many important vitamines.
Especially because early humans did not really know about them either. Even today many don't know what is in what food, especially when it comes to not being able to eat it fresh.
Vegetables and co lose their vitamines pretty quickly.
And the real fun starts in winter anyway. Meat and milk products made it much easier to survive.
If you eat everything from the animal, you can survive solely with meat even and that without help of a high civilisation and its economy.
Much harder with plants.
Vegan is luxury. Humankind didn't have that for a very long time. Overall we managed to overcome giant hunger catastrophes only in the last decades.
A much bigger problem than meat and co is, what we put into it - thanks to capitalism, it's all about profit, not about health.
Would be easy to make processed food healthy. Without any problem.
But look at the US health care system alone. A bigger GDP than most countries on the planet. Money, money, money.

@nuclearcatbaby1131 While I'm also no fan of going crazy and just blaming everything on it, I never understood why there is even the need to full around with our immune system like that, when the old ways of vaccination (so pretty much giving the dead body of a virus to our immune system so it can study it) had to be replaced like that.
The usual, egomanical "playing god" thing. While humankind has left evolution with all the changes via medicine, soviety and all (evolution works with murder, it simply kills the 'weak' and let the 'strong' take over, good enough for nature I guess, but it's bloody horrific, still), we indeed have to look how we replace it by the same means, so look at how we an get rid of our weaknesses (for example when it comes to developing cancer) with science and of course the focus on understanding DNA and what follows is one of the main roads there.
But we are still on the road and not in the situation to just fool around with it.

Thought about "chemtrails" this day, when I saw a plane and how little sense this conspiracy makes from the start, since in the height, the chemicals would be dispersed so much and land who know where.
Meanwhile people don't seem to care at all what all kind of shit they put into our food and drinks.
And by the way: while BURNED(!) meat to the point it goes charcoal black (just as any other food you do that to) is bad, we still don't talk much about smoking, do we?
But, well, there is a giant lot of money in smoking, isn't it. In something where you pretty much inhale pure poison.
Alcohol sin't good, too, but in comparison to the poison cocktail that is smoking, you could almost call it healthy...
Same for other drugs and there are some extremely nasty ones.
And yes, while the main cancers you get from smoking are in your lunges and the whole system around is you also increase the cancer chance for everything else.
So while we FOR SURE should start to put less shit into our food and whatever we drink, It's insane how propaganda and greed made something as deadly as smoking so accepted - with meat and alike getting for more pressure in general. What is kind of absurd. Humans eat meat since thousands of years, same for many other animal products (and yes, it's how nature is build, nature is absolutely murderous and does not care for survival of anything, you either make it by yourself or you just die horribly, THAT'S nature). If any of that stuff is suddenly bad, then solely because what we meanwhile put in there - again out of greed.
When I hear talk about alternatives for cow milk, that you could take plant milk and that you could but vitamins and minerals into that plant milk to make it as good as cow milk - so when you could put extra viamines and minerals into plant milk to make it more healthy, why not do the same to all the other food, instead of all the bad up to toxic shit?

@Klaus No, child. Socialism describes an economy in the hand of the people, in which the machines work for the whole society - that's why it's called SOCIAlism.
Name me a country where this was the case and even more a bad thing.
You can't.
You don't get it: capitalists call other countries socialistic (those don't even do it themselves, they at best say they want to REACH socialism and got some social elements like education and health care for all, but not socialiastic economy) to scare you away.
Take North Korea. Everytime its in the news, it is called a "communistic regime". Meanwhile North Korea does not call itself communistic. It calls itself a democratic republic.
Funny that they never call it that, no? Well, because we also use the word democatic to fool the masses, so we don't want to smear the word, that's why.
Democracy can't even exist without socialism or something alike. Because the REAL power is ALWAYS in the economy. You can vote for whatever you want, if oligachs control the economy, this is without any meaning.
You don't need politics to survive, you need goods. And who ever controls the goods and their production controls the system.
That's why the right wing extremists (that includes parties which people like you see as left wing, but left = egalitarian, right = elitism, so any party that stands for a class system, that caters to the oligarchs and their power ARE right wingers, no matter what they call themselves, only those who give politicis for ALL people are leftists, that's the definition of the word) love to talk about democracy and elections, because those are meaningless, while they do everything possible to keep you away from changing the depotic economy.
Because there is the actual power.
And if you say: but they make the laws, they can control the economy. No, they will tell you that they have to follow the "realpolitic" = they have to do what the oligarchs want.
