  1. It's actually worse: The USA did not only fund them, they trained them and pushed them further to the extrem. The actual Afghan fighters did not even get much of that, since they weren't extreme enough. The USA gathered the worst kind of militant extremists they could find to Pakistan at the border where they united, trained and armed them, creating an international linked terror network. If they would just have armed some Afghans... that wouldn't have done much.

  2. Afghanistan did not end the soviet union. The soviet union did not want to go along with that stupid shit of the cold war anymore and going out of Afghanistan was (stupid) sign to the west that the whole nonsense could stop and the SU started with it. Of course NATO fascism just abused this, almost ruinining Russia with it - until Putin came. The reason why they hate Putin like nothing else.
