You do get that the USA kept most Nazis in power and mainly joined 2 WW after long time supporting the Nazis to not let the Soviet Union defeat European fascism for good, but instead take over and continue 2.WW (Cold War), becoming the new Führer of a new, world wide acting, super fascistic alliance (NATO), with direct and indirect wars via proxies like for example South Korea, South Vietnam, Israel, Ukraine and so on...
