  9.  @firstandforemost87  Indeed, capitalists love that free market nonsense, but you always got a market when people trade with each other, that's nothing special. Socialism also got a market. Socialism also got supply and demand. What capitalists mean with free market is, a market in which they can freely dominate everything with their wealth and power without hinderance. And what capitalists mean with supply and demand is, that both gonna serve them, that they control the supply and abuse the demand go get very rich. Socialism also got supply and demand, but since socialism is about that the economy has to serve the society, the focus in it would have to be to satisfy the demand by creating a big enough supply or at least by equally spreading the supplys, every demand is at least partly satisfied. Capitalism wouldn't do that. That's where the whole "low supply, high demand = high prices", because capitalism just abuses that situation. If you got 10 people and 20l water, you got enough water for everyone. If you suddenly only got 10l water, socialism would give every of these 10 people just 1l, what wouldn't be good, but good enough for people to survive. Capitalism would tell the 10 people, that only those who can pay a high price will get their 2l of water - and the five left, well, bad luck. (a bit simplified of course). Even worse, as capitalism is, it would take even those 20l water, the first, richest guy would have total controll over that and take 10l for himself, then sell the other 10 to the reaming 9 people and 5 of them will only get half a liter - even WHILE there would be enough water for all.
