  1. China censored some of western social media, because those platform denied to help solving deadly terrorist attacks in China after the terrorist have used these platform to plan them. Of course this had to be counted as western social media siding with terrorists and by that they were canceled in China. So, no, USA isn't like China, since what they indeed use their media and alike for warfare in all kind of ways, while China isn't.
