  5. If you would constantly follow the general human rights, you would get communism automatically, which overall is more an evolution of society than a system or ideology. Counterpart to capitalism (= the economy serves the oligarchs) is socialism (= the economy serves society). The idea is that with socialism, society would by itself reach the state of communism = people living and working together as equals without any powerhierarchy at all - like a community. Overall the words themselves tell quite well what they mean.

The Soviet Union was state capitalistic with some socialistic elemente, which were - as pretty much always around the globe - the best part of the country, since those give safety to people, food, water, healthcare and so on. Soviet Union was never able to go beyond state capitalism, because western fascism contantly tried - and still trieds - to murder and pillage them. Socialism and the follow up evolution of society itself communism are systems of peace, not warfare. You can't develope them when fighting for survival.

If you take the political meaning, then conservativ stands for wanting the class systems of kings, artistocrats and plebs and progressive would be against that, but in the end it's rarely used by that and for obvious reason those are simply not good words. Conserving what? Progressing where?

Dems are a perfect example for that, a hardcore right wing party, but sold by itself, others and the media in general as "left" The reason is simple: When you got a mafia family, but only one is openly Mafia the rest call themselves all kind of things, even police and people eat that, you can do whatever you want.
