  1. There is nothing "wrong" with capitalism - it's just capitalism. It's doing exactly what it is supposed to do = rob the masses for the rich.

People will never get, that the difference between socialism and capitalism is not if you can sell something, it's about who controls what is needed to produce things in the first place, what is needed to work, what is needed to survive. Socialism would not take your right away to "sell books", but printing books and alike would not be in the hands of oligarchs, but the SOCiety as a whole. Of course printing books is the least problem. It's more about controlling food, water, medicine, education, news media and so on.

  3.  @onetwothreeabc  Of course not, especially Rowling isn't even a good writer in the first place and badly copy/pastes from others. But even good books aren't worth to become that rich. That's a different problem though.

  4.  @jonwalter6317  She didn't create that but a giant media apperatus, that could do that with everything else, too. There are millions of better books. Desire? Desire is something you can easily produce, that's what PR is for.

  5.  @AppleseedVending  It's one of the aspects. Capitalism means, that oligarchs control the economy, the economy controls the people (becauses they need the econoym to survive) and by that all the power lies in the economy, so politics can do nothing, even if they wanted to. Socialism means, that the economy is owned and serves the SOCIety. That's why it is called SOCIalism. In a democracy, society is also the sovereign. Not that any western country even got democracy. They got elections. That's not the same at all.
