You do get, that the Nazis of the Kiev coup regime slaughter people since eight years and good 2 million fled from this to Russia with many of the dead having ties to Russia via family and alike. They know exactly what this is about. There wa a clear way to peace: Minsk 2. The facistic coup regime denied to follow it and instead demanded more money and weapons from the west to continue and finish their ethnical cleansing. Since it was clear, that there is no way to peace via talking with such fascists, Russia went it to end it by force.
