  1. A NASAM missiles costs 1,2 million US dollars. That's even more expensive than the IRIS-T ones. You can send 60+ drones for that money - which that system will likely not even be able to target. I wonder who defends those system, since overall: effective air defense must be layered. You need long range, mid range and short rang with anti air cannons, so your systems won't be countered and you got the fitting system ready to defend the other systems - and not go bankrupt by firing 1,2 million missiles at ~20k drones. Gepard won't do it. They got close to no ammunition for these system and the ammunition they got is verys old and often does not work.
