Bezos never interact with the work of the WaPo, the paper simply went to him, because he was so good at organizing Amazon with focus on the consumer and all, that they wanted him to save the paper, which was borderline bankrupt. The propblem of western newspapers and especially USA is all the same, no matter where. Just because for example you got someone like Tucker with a few minutes of not pure insanity on fox news, doesn't make it overall better than CNN or whatever. They also talk a lot of shit.
