The idea, that this is a great victory of the Nazis and that they should push further is on the level of some teenage kid fighting with a heavy class boxing champion, who sits there and tries to not drop his sandwhich while fighting of that aggression with one hand and then the champion leaves for a second to finish his sandwhich, coming back ready for a real fight, while everyone cheers for the brat that he just won the first round and now should push on for the title.
