  2. Rebranding works well. Hitler's Party NSDAP rebranded as CDU/CSU, the party of von der Leyen. Put a lot of effort into it, but they took all the Nazis in and did everything to whitewash them, while playing the US lap dog. They were against unification of germany as neutral state and a peace treaty, so for cold war and US nukes. They pushed to cancel the communist party in germany. They overall forged the young, after-war germany to make sure it stays right wing und the new Führer in oversea.
