  1. Iris-T got 40km range. Barely enough for some area defense and of course easily overwhelmed on its own. Just a middle range rocket system as air defense isn't enough at all, even if it would have a 100% hit rate. For effectiv air defense in a country as wide as Ukraine, you need a massive layered air defense phalanx with long, middle and short range air defense. And of course you must have the people able to use them.
