  2. Men are raised to ignore pain and their own health. The real reason is, that men work on when the symptoms start, working through them and only lay down when it's really not possible anymore. It's the main reason why men die so much earlier, because we exploit them and don't care for the price they have to pay for that at all. Just look at this myth, it's spitting on men on top of that, making jokes about it, how weak they are an that they should even power through collaps.

  3. Men are told to not care for their lives and health - that's how you can exploit them in work and wars up to their own death. So overall if a man gets ill he will just follow the indoctrination and work on, ignoring the symptom and when he reaches a point where he crumbles and can't go on anymore, it had already become way worse than it should have been if taking care of themselves with the first symptoms (but that it seen as 'unmanly').
