  1. Nothing can be worse than smoking, it's litereally inhaling a cocktail of over 200 toxins. Utterly absurd to think that sitting is worse than that. Overall how even meassuring that? It's not like people just sit or walk, they do hundreds of other things. Of course moving is good, but people who come up and treating sitting as if it is poison can be taken seriously.

  2. More likely that ill peopel move less because, well, they are ill, than just sitting causing the illness. When you look at all the poison we got around us, blaming such things on sitting feels like a PR campaign from companies who produce that poison. Espcially when they come up with absolute BS like "worse than smoking". Utterly absurd to call moving less worse than actively inhaling a cocktail of over 200 toxins.

  4.  @geralvon  It's litereally a neurotoxin. The whole point of alcohol and what people like about it comes from your brain being poisoned. Such stuff like "sitting causes dementia" feels like PR campaigns from evil companies to distract from the real causes.

  5. How even. How do you even want to meassure that with sitting and dementia? This feels like trying to distract from actual causes - like smoking, alcohol, all the shit greedy companies put into food, bad medicines, drugs, stress, pollution and so on. The idea that all that is worse than just sitting is ridiculous.
