@FreeLebanon-z2n Katyn is war propaganda, to, the fact alone that in a war where 60-70 million people died, the majority civilians, people talk about some thousand soldiers as big narrative. Overall the evidence points at that it was simply made up and that those soldiers becamse PoW, but died elsewhere, since soldier marks of them were found elsewhere, likely doing forced labour as PoW then just dying as such in the war. Soviets had ZERO reason to trust Poland, which overall would have wanted to just join germany to attack the SU again, as they alreads had done some years before and utterl ignoring the warnings of the Soviet Union to them and whole Europe regarding Hitler's goals (for the simple reason that Eurpean nations thought the germans would mainly go for the Soviet Union (what they overall did, but they also took everyhing else they could get). WIthout the gigantic sacrice of the USSR to end Nazi germany, Poland would not even exist today, no eastern European country would.

@viktorbitovski6028 Not even Stalin wanted the eastern european countries they had saved from german fascism (which would have killed all of them), but the creation of NATO to continue 2.WW under new name and Führer, made that impossible. Warsaw Pact was created MANY years after NATO in teh same year the USA put nukes at the most eastern border they could. And NATO itself has shown that they were right, because when the USSR ended Cold War from their side, NATO did not stop - but marched east. Today this has less of a meaning, in the 1950th and 1960th that would have been a desaster.

@StevePowell-p9f Italy is part of NATO which is western neo fascism, created to control the whole planet and pillage its resources. Defense? No one gives a single F to conquer Europe, not even the USA. Both got nothing worth to conquer. Russia meanwhile is not only the biggest but also richest country on the planet, that's why western fascism tries to genocide and pillage it since ages. Over and over and over again. Ukraine is just another try. You don't see any of the fascists talk a single SECOND about Ukrainian people, especially not those in the war zones since the illegal coup 2014. They never talk a single second about what the people in Ukraine want, the people in Donbass and on Crimea. It's ALWAYS about destroying Russia. Because they HATE people. They want the resources. The people are just in the way.
