Because west Ukraine mainly got those Banders Nazis, who were fine with slaughter but shit soldiers. Many Ukrainian soldiers deserted or even switched sides to fight against the coup regime. The Nazis also ruined the image of the Ukrainian army, so many normal men simply did not show up anymore. Those who did showed up weren't the smartest - since they believed the nonsense about fighting against Russia or terrorists.

Which wars did NATO even win? Sure, they are good at bombing peopole who can't fire back, but in the end they just destroy the land and then still lose with boots on the ground.

@chegayvara1136 If they would have cared for Minsk 2, they would have said something about it. They never did. Minsk 2 was a trick to buy time to train Ukraine more for the big trap. Of course it did not work at all, because Russia isn't stupid. Gorbatschow was naive enough to trust us, yeah, not anymore. Putin knows the whole shit show behind our lies. He still tried to talk, over and over and over and over again, doesn't mean that he ever fell for our lies. And of course there was no way out. If Russia wouldn't have acted now and just watched the genocide in Donbass, NATO would just have ordered their Ukro Nazis to attack Crimea. SInce that would have been a full out declaration of war against Russia, this would have ended way more ugly for Ukraine. People joke about the "special operation". But a full out war would be much, much worse.

Well, NATO is good at slaugtherin helpless people who can't fire back and finance terrorism. That worked quite well and without Russian intervention, Ukraine's Nazis would for sure have manage to slaughter the East Ukrainians just as planed and trained for. And it's not like NATO is good at actually winning wars. They just ruin the country and then leave it as failed state. Also worked just fine. The NATO part of Ukraine is indeed ruined and a failed state.
