So absurd, how he talks about "taking control", while those are skirmishes of very few soldiers somewhere with very little footage information, but the numbers alone make clear, that this is not about taking control of anything. Those pushes are done to force the enemy into motion, lure them out and use this to break them down peace by peace. A single thougha bout how many soldiers we got in this war and how very little of such numbers you see in these videos alone should make this clear. Russia got zero reason to play hard defense, especially not in that area.

That's not new, the whole point of tank is to draw fire and survive it as long a possible. Their firing range is garbage since many, many years, they got no anti air and they are not good for transporting troops, plus are pretty slow. They mainly got a lot of armor and of course we mainly see the succeful hits. But in general, tanks lost a lot of meaning and that since decades. There isn't really anything they are the stone vs the scissor, even infantery can destroy them with high range anti tank weponry. As soon as you don't fight some goat herders who barely got more than an RPG here and there, it's clearly not what you should focus on if you want to succeed. They got their part as support, as said, to draw attention and fire and soak up as much as possible before they are disabled. But that's pretty much it.

Well, western news simply report nothing on it, so that's not hard. In the end he's still just watching social media posts, which only show something below 5% of this war which is also heavily painted by propaganda.

Ugh, RUSSIA is using the hit and run approach, not Ukraine. What do you think this is? You can't besieg a stronghold with some few soldiers in trenches or buildings. Those guys move in there to lure the Ukrainians out and the main reason those don't send in a whole army is exactly that fear, that this is a trap. And stop treating warfare as if it's some 1990th RTS, where you slowly paint the map in your color on your way to victory. Not how it works in reality. While logistics are important and losing territory can threaten this or certain territory can be important for different means, territorial gains just on their own mean nothing.

Vast majority of drones don't reach their targets if not something like Lancet. Most get destroyed by you won't see those hundredthousands of videos.
