Actually such vehicles like the Marder shine in such circumstances, since they at least withstand most handheld firearms, but everything beyond that is simply too much.
Means: in an actual war, you can just pray, that you not get shot at and when Russia is the one shooting at you... praying won't help.
There is a reason, that most of the veteran mercenaries who went to Ukraine quickly left, because while they liked nice payment for shooting people, they did not like to obliterated without much of a chance beside sheer luck.
