@carlosdgutierrez6570 NATO doctrine only works against countries with no army or a far inferior army after brutal bombing campaigns (with massive civil casualties). It's not like Russia COULDN'T do that. They can. They don't want to, because that's the whole point of it being an SMO and not war: they don't see Ukraine as the enemy, but the coup regime, it's Banderites army and of course NATO (which was created to pillage Russia, nothing else, was never about defense, no one gives a fuck to conquer anything in Europa or the USA, there is nothing to get from that).

@nattygsbord What's simply not true child and with all the billions pumped into Ukraine and wasting a whole generation of men for that shit (good luck trying to selling tenthousand of dead US soldiers per mopnth to the US public...) and fighting a Russia which until now fought with both arms on its back and massively holding back to not damage Ukraine more than necessary, this is simply just an utter desaster. The losses of Ukraine are just insane and the war utterly ruine and I don't speak of the damage, which is mostly done in Donbass, what Russia will build up again and is already doing where this is possible, but the western part, which is hardly damaged, but absolutely destroyed regarding finances and economy.

@wertywerrtyson5529 Minefields on their own are pointless. Minefields as first line of a layered defense is extremely lethal. Not even because of the mines, you CAN get rid of them. But doing that slows you down massively what makes you fish in a barrel for the other layers. What is it's purpose.

@MrKaba1985 What do you think "nuclear protection" means? Beside this: no one will shot a nuke at a tank, not even a small one, what a waste. Helicopters, jets, missiles and alike are more than enough to rip apart any tank army. When your enemy got air superiority, you can just leave your tanks in the garage

No, it doesn't. This is only the case when you mainly see such system and nothing else. What you mainly see are heavy bombardement from bomber, artillery, long range missiles system and drones - not that. It's just some extra firepower for infantery level troops.

It doesn't show shortage because it's just an extra, it's more firepower for infantery level troops, that's it. If that would be the only thing you see, sure, but you actually don't see much of those extra system and mainly the usual, heavy bombardements, long range missiles and many, many drones.

What is the real problem for the Leopard and prett much everthing you send to Ukraine: it will just get destroyed, the bigger the sooner, before even getting into action. You can sneak int smaller arms here and there, but such big stuff like artillery and tanks, not much of a chance.

Focussing on the minefield is anyway the first mistake. The mistake exists as a barrier and to slow you down. You have to ignore it and focus on the actual defense lines behind that. If you can't do that: yeah... you should probably just give up (at least on your try to break through). If your plan is to overcome the minefield and that as just the first line of a layered defense, you already walked into the trap of that layered defense.

@MsZeeZed Why shoukld it sneak up on a M777? Those get hunted down by long range artillery, missiles and especially drones. Not really what TOS is made for.

@fritzlude6949 Russia moved out of Kharkiv, because it was worthless for them to hold it and they moved out of Kherson City, even though brutally slaughter the Nazis with a disadvantage, because the Nazis kept on shooting at a dam to flood the city. This forced them anyway to save the ciizens and with them gone, there was no reason to fight with a river in their back instead of using it as natural barrier. The 'successes' of your Nazis were only possible, because Russia changed positions and let them coming and the Nazis paid with tenthousands of dead for it., still.

@Leadbelly. Germany produces a hell lot of crap meanwhile. Our army is known for having massive problems with pretty much everything and even in civil sector you got exploding costs for any big project which take double the time they should and thousands of problems afterwards. Something like the Crimean Bride for example would likely just not even be possible and if, it would take 2-3 the time if not longer.

Mein reason for a minefield is to slow down the enemy. Clearing the mines is still doing that. And it's not like it's hard to renew the minefield.

Sadly neither the Nazis nor their NATO masters care about that at all and want to ruin Ukraine as much as possible. Especially NATO. For NATO the Ukrainians are an annoyance, at best usefukl cannonfodder. They even admitted that several times, when they talk about what a great investment Ukraine is, beacuse only Ukrainians die there. Typical talk of a fascist talking about those he sees as subhuman.

@ArchOfficial Those numbers are nonsense. And Russia won't have much problem to get rid of their mines. Much more annoying and dangerous for civilians are the mines the Nazis love to bombard the east Ukrainians cities with, which just land everywhere including in tree and on roofs.

Non one gives a fuck about to conquer us, we got shit to conquer. NATO exists to rob the rest of the world, with th biggest target Russia, the by far richest country on this planet. Beside that canceling China is the most important side goal, because killing Russia and China would ensure US world dominationg (also called 'exceptionalism', something pretty much every US president loves to talk about) = easily robbing other countries of their resources. Something the USA with its endless and rising hunger desperately needs, because its own reserves especially in oil and gas are running dry. And Europe got close to no resources anyway.

Well, you do get that Ukrainian army is using "russian" tanks? Since one of the goals of Russia is to destroy all heavy weaponry in Ukraine, well, this includes many/all "russian tanks" of course.

@bw5888 You do get that most destroyed tanks you see are Ukrainian ones, obliterated by Russian air force and alike. And they will do this with every tank, no matter what. Also does not help when you get a tank that COULD be better, but you suck at operating it. Not that it would change much in that situation Ukraine is in, tanks won't help them at all. Actually the only thing that would help them since 2014 would have been to not start that war - and instantly give up as Russia went in eight years later to end it by force. They can't win. Not even close. They can only ruin their already in-the-dirt country even more. Who's gonna pay for all that shit anyway? The coup was desastrou for Ukraine, especially that association treaty that was instantly signed before any elections. absolute terrible. In case of Ukrainians, I would jut cancel the country at this point and either join another or create a new one - and let the culprits pay for the mountain high pilled up debt (what of course will not happen)

And the tanks won't even be your main problem. Behind them are several lines of artillery and missile artillery syste, while a whole fleet of drones is monitoring the area, giving other drones your position and marking you for them. 2km is way too close to all that stuff to be not in constant risk to be destroyed by pretty much everything. NATO is used to fight people with old rifles and maybe a mortar.

China will join, obliterate our internet, togethe with Russia cancel the world economy and our fancy glass palaces would just fall apart with us struggeling to keep ourselves over water before even thinking about the war. 2. If it would go further and we really invade Russia, what would be a nightmare on its own, since of course Russia ans China will detroy any NATO bases close to them and sink all fleets coming to them, but in the worst case they will use nukes and we are all super dead.

@a12shotman War is about who got an army left, territory you can take as you want. Russia went out of Kharkiv and Kherson City to improve the situation of its troops = keep the K/D ratio high. Your Nazis rushed in, paying for a pointless territorial 'gain' a brutal price of tenthousands soldiers per months and billions in equipment - that's why they cry for another new army from NATO - and just get those coffins on wheels, because NATO got shit left to send.

Not against a high tech army that shreds you to pieces from dozens up to hundreds km away with lines after line of weapon system all working together, linked to a giant surveillance network that easily can see such vehicles and constantly send your location to drones, air force and artillery. Why do you think NATO have to pump army after army of such vehicles into Ukraine? Because they work and survive so long?

@Lukas9708 Ukraine lost the war monthes ago, actually it lost 2014, when the illegal fascistic coup regime sold it out to the west in a horrendous way. What we got now just goes furthr and furthre down to hell and that's not caused by Russia's bombs.

Actually such vehicles like the Marder shine in such circumstances, since they at least withstand most handheld firearms, but everything beyond that is simply too much. Means: in an actual war, you can just pray, that you not get shot at and when Russia is the one shooting at you... praying won't help. There is a reason, that most of the veteran mercenaries who went to Ukraine quickly left, because while they liked nice payment for shooting people, they did not like to obliterated without much of a chance beside sheer luck.

Doubtful any tank sent will even see any Russian tank before destroyed by missiles or airforce. Why should Russia let them get even close?

Without full support (and fuel) no matter what tank will just be a sitting duck. Overall TANKS are the supporting units these days. Even the best tanks simply lack the range these days to be more than that.
