@didakis FF14 is way worse. Their shop is much bigger and when you want to enjoy housing and pretty much every content in the game got housing items involved, it's a pretty big part of the game, they FORCE you to stay subbed, because after a month of not paying them, they gonna delete your house and take your plot away and another month later also delete all the stuff you had inside, what can easily reach hundreds if not thousands of hours of playtime invested. Imagine Blizzard would just delete your stuff when you take a break... Oh, and because Square is extremely greedy, they never cared to get enough servers to even make housing for everyone possible. And then they abuse this as 'argument' for those mafia methods. "Nice house you got there, you don't want anything happen to it, do you?"

@bustacap3791 Congrats for being an idiot to link that to Blizzard, as if you didn't have that in pretty much every MMORPG, where you get more powerful and can just do old stuff with ease. Take FF14 for example. The main reason to do one of the few boss fights the game got is to get a re-colored mount. You can grind this until you are blind, ill and regarded, where some peopel had 200+ boss fights until they finally got it. Or you just wait the two years until new expansion is out and just solo it with drop rate not 1% but 20% or more.
