Never were made for much else, the sole reason people think that Tanks are something else was NATO fascism slaughter third world countries and when the main weaponry of your victim are old asssault rifles with at best a few 100m range, than a tank is godlike. Against a real army, a tank becomes a joke alone by its extremely limited firing range in comparison to all other units. In that case the main goal is to be send against the enemy and take as many hits as possible, while the other system analyse the attacker for their strikes.

@mikitadou Russia SAVED Poland. Else germany would have marched through and easily finished their genocide. Same for all other eastern european states. None of them would exist today. Wonder if Russians ask themselves if they just should have watched, seeing how so many they saved from excinction went 100% Nazi mod today (not that it was sooooo much different in WW2 - there were many eastern europeans who just went along with fascism - including a part of Ukraine, the part that is praised as heroes today by the current regime.

Lol, what's the point, kid? Russia is the main target of western fascism, because it got the most resources on this planet by far. Before, during and after 2.WW it was always about stealing Russia's mountains of resources. Japan overall mainly did their own thing by tring to conquer and pillage China the same way germany went for Russia. In both cases it was Russia/SU and China who by the destroyed most of the aggressor by far.

@larsskjelbred7822 US lend lease was a joke and just for making profit for the US oligarchs, nothing else. You people just east any shit they throw at you. USA traded well with the Nazis before this and without that germany's Blitzkrige wouldn't have been possible. USA only switched sides when it was clear that the germans would lose and went more in to save them an keep the majority in power as part of NATO - which overall was just created to continuw 2.WW with a new Führer: the USA.

Even under perfect training condition and with newly produced Javelins, they got a successrate of around 20%. With US fascism mainly sending their old crap to their proxy, being used not in training but real fight and mainly by barely trained civilians who are forced into uniform, you can reduce that by another big margin. Such an extra layer, while not strong enough to stop it, will still further add to it, forcing the ammunition to detonate to early, disperse the energy and make it harde to hit points where it could penetrate.
