FF14 raids are 99% scripted and you simply have to learn that dance. Make it boring very quickly, even more, because classes are more and more streamlined. That's why one of th question in Q/A was to give more challening content and make it more exciting and the answer was: just play Ultimate. Was is not even challenging, it's mindnumbing to live.die.repeat through a fight, until all eight just get it into their heads.
