  1.  @ich3730  No, FF14 got WAY less. Because instead of building it up, they cut it more and more down, until almost nothing was left. There is a reason, why almost all original players left FF14, bored out by that shit show and now only WoW kiddies with their fanatism come up and praise 8 years of content as "so cool" as if this is the current situation of the game and not Square being lazy and greedy and just keep pushing you into old, outdated and freaking boring content.

  2. He's simply makign PR for the game, that's all. FF14 got a massive problem that the majority of content is just faceroll, where even average player can easily drag all the braindead monkeys through, while the next step is a line of scripted one shot mechanics with some 1qm space as save zone every few seconds you have to find out and learn, so you can repeat the dance.

  3. Absolute everything in FF14 are those telegraphed attacks. The fights are all super scripted and always in the same 2 kinds of arena.

FF14 dungeons are meanwhile reduced to a straight, boring, always the same line of some trash you pull all at once, boss, some trash, boss, some trash, none of that is any danger or challenge, none of it gives any kind of special feeling or looks like an actual part of the world. They make visuals and music ans the carrier, but that's it and they only use it for that one normal mode yawn dungeon.

  6.  Hinami  When it re-started 2013, it had a lot of problem (for example Square being so freaking greedy, that they didn't get European servers for 2 years, leaving europea lazers with up 2seconds and more delay, what made the gameplay a disasters). I and friends still stayed with it, what should tell you, that's I'm for sure not anti Square or FF14 by default at all. With the first expansion HW came improvements like European servers and the gameplay also was advanced, same for the class and they tried out some new things, like Diadem (what was pretty shit and they seemed to lack the skill to save it...) or Deeper Dungeons system, that was quite nice. But from SB on, everythin went more downhills. They cute away more and more, the story became ridiculous snore fest with a bunch of Mary Sue just rofl stomping braindead NPC, obliterating all depth the story could have had up to a level, where they literally whitewashed planetary genocide as the good and right thing to do and that for absolute no reason. Jobs were more and more streamlined, Raids and dungeons just copy/paste with different visuals. Less and less side content and the one we got just boring copy/paste of the old shit, while the ads for the cash shop becamse more aggressive and the prices more expensive - while they massively cut down ingame rewards for being subbed or doing questlines and events and so on. Oh, and not forget that one of the bigger selling points of the game 'housing' is abused by them to force you to stay subbed or you gonna lose your house forever after a month and will likely never get one back, since FF14 only got around 10% of the servers WoW has, with a limite amount of housing plot per servers, shared between player character and guilds on top of that and only having enough for ~30-50% of the server population. For me by the way the main reason after being the last of all the players I started with, to leave the game and never come back, since we bought our guild mansion in 2014 - we had it for ~seven years. But then that company forces me to stay subbed, just to keep it, while they give a fuck to give me content to play? Imagine the outrage for example Blizzard would do that. You unsub, and you lose content you put monthes of playtime into. That's how fucking shit Square is. Oh and they love to sell their lack of servers also as excuse that they can't fix things or bring in new content. People call WoW dead, but the greatest MMORPG of all time tha dominates the gaming world can't get at least half the amount of servers (what would incrase the capacities by factors).

  7.  @masterpain7742  When you look at the numbers, after Square had this Influencer campaing numbers increase, since many WoW kiddies fell for the lies. But meanwhile they are down again and that with all the bots Square never did SHIT against and for example steam couinting people as playing which just got the launcher open, leading to several thousand players while the servers are down! If you look at the increase after patch, less and less even care to look back and even those who do quickly stop playing again, what you only can do if you don't care for housing, because the game would force you to stay subbed to not lose the housing plot.
