  1. At's at least a work of actual art you got in your own hands, you own, your unique property, you can give your children and grandchildren and so on. These ships are just some pixels, which can be copy/pasted endlessly and will be gone the soon the game closes (if it will even ever exist in the end beyond some alpha stage).

  2. "Game has been released" is like calling a WoW alpha where you test some fragments of the actual addon a "release". Imagine Blizzard would say "hey, you can play the game, no?" and you can only test some buggy dungeons and run around a buggy and mostly empty overworld - all while selling gear for hundreds and thousands of dollars.

  3. Give those 48k to some indi team, they will make whole game for you with it. These guys got over 700.000.000$ meanwhile and did pretty much shit with it.

  5. Joke is, with the engine they choose - and then started to mutilate, it's simply impossible to ever make that super realistic whatever game they want.

  6. They promised most of that stuff TEN(!) years ago. It was a overexagerrated gag to mock the game that it would eventually release in 2020. Meanwhile it's 2024 - and absolutely no end in sight. But why should they? The money just comes flowing in. Since around 2014 they promised to release the game "next year", year after year, until it became so ridiculous, that they stopped making that obviously fake promise somewhere around 2020.
