@justsomeguywholovesberserk6375 My main queastion always is, how can they spend so much money on everything but ask some hobo from the street to write them a story for a sandwhich? Of course that metapher is an insult for hobos, who for sure can write better stories than what we got.

@piercethroughheart5700 I mean, that's understandable, since the first movie mainly got some cars and a street in the desert. ^^

Going for safe success wouldn't even be a problem (that's overall just quality control you need for that...), but that their idea of safete is just a cheap copy/paste - and that without quality control.

Even then, why create a whole new planet and all, if you still got an extremely stupid story and characters? It still sucks. And I must say, when I make a movie like Avatar that is 90% CGI anyway, why just mainly copy/paste earth with some glow effects and odd tentacle hair sex?
