There was simply neither need nor time for an arc. It would have also been quite annoying to have a a long build up for a character doomed to die who overall has had his life and wouldn't have cared to go back in action if not for that one thing. Not everything needs the standard arc and character developement, especially not Batman and even less in a Flash movie, where he IS a side character. You can only put so much into a ~2 hour movie and of course what you give one character you have to take away from another. If anyone fell short it's Supergirl, but even that was okay. It was a critical situation and they had to find this one weapon they needed to win - what failed. That the movie had the guts to go that route was actually interesting. Most movies would throw in a threat like an army of Kryptonians and then have it easily crushed, probably wil telling some stupid jokes - or an army of kids.

They didn't. It was a good movie with a well done story. You crybabies just love to hate things for no reason.

The CGI wasn't crap, it was weird. And that clearly on purpose. How can people be so dumb to not get that? That CGI wasn't cheap at all. It was that way, because the Speed Force distorts reality and they showed just that. People just hate on it, because it doesn't look like they want it to look. But that's childish stupid.

If you hate this movie, there isn't really much left you can not hate. I don't call it perfect, but overall it did everything pretty right. There are very few superhero and even less time travel movies which can say that.

@johnwinchesterp2963 They didn't set up multi verse nonsense, since the whole movie is all about that you can't just toy around with it like the Marvel bullshit, because it will collapse everything. It was done in the only acceptable way when you do something like this seriously.

It was indeed well done. While the CGI looked clearly odd, it was also clearly on purpose, showing how the Speed Force distorts reality and I'm not sure if they didn't make the Babies look goofy, because it simply was supposed to be a goofy scene and with real looking babies it would likely have changed the feeling of it. It's also very nice to have Flash with limitations like not being able to just move around stuff as he pleases, what is the same bullshit as time travel so solve problems: it CREATES a giant problem, because such a character could just easily solve almost everything. The movie did the absolute right thing to limite Flash's powers like that and did use the only acceptable way of time travel: you simply can not use it to fix things. Else you get a shit show like Avengers End Game, which was simply an absolut disaster story wise. Tony Starks pulls time travel out of his ass as solution for everything and of course all antagonists are reduced to incompetent retards. As if Thanos, epecially with the Infinity Gauntlet, wouldn't see such a thing and make it impossible.

@marbellaotaiza801 Don't get why peopel hate Green Lantern. From all super hero movies, it had a decent story about what it means to brave. The protagonists was a quite nice guy, who did all kind of crap, but wasn't an asshole about it like Tony Stark, who is overall just a terrible person who causes way more problem than he solves and must be protected by ridiculous plot armor.

@youknowihaduwuittoem None of them feal real, because the whole concept of them is stupid. And while Flash's power are even more fantastic, it's fine because of that: it's pretty much magic, not some bullshit pseuso science, which wouldn't work no matter what, because the human body couldn't handle it. It's also in every movie stupid to have ultra high tech there, but everything else stays the same. To build something like an Iron Man suit with such a powersource is the most stupid thing you can do. It's as stupid as fighting crime in a Batsuit while you are a billionair and could save the city by just using your wealth in a smart way. Funny enough, the Flash movie treated all that way better and then people hate on it. Ridiculous.

@NowAndToEternity Most peopel are stupid and stupid peopel love to hate on things to feel better. ~shrug~ Funny enough, most stupid peopel love actual stupid things, because, well, it's on their level. Most super hero movies are utter bullshit and only tolerable when you just see them as cheap, dumb entertainment and often enough not even then. But oh do people love that shit full of plot holes and idiotic characters and of course protagonist who are mainly just dumb and incompetent, solely losing by that - what just ruins EVERY story, because a good story needs both, well writen protagonists AND antagonists. If one of that fails, that's already enough to make a story bad. Flash handled that well. Even the Kryptonians were a serious force which in the end couldn't be beaten. A step most stories don't dare to go anymore, to let the protagonists fail.

@robonator2945 It's a stupid scene that makes zero sense and is all rule of cool, please ignore how stupid it is. Pretty much all Iron Man movies got a crap story that makes no sense and retarded antagonists. Fine to enjoy them for a brainless action movie, but the writing is still shit, there is no discussion about it.
