  2. Stinger played close to no role in Afghanistan. Overall the SU went ouf of it because Gorbatchov wanted to end the whole Cold War insanity - that naive man. As if someone who slaughtered millions of people in their proxy wars and pumped billions into creating a worldwide connected islamistic terrornetwork to ruin a country like Afghanitan would ever stop and could in any way be trusted.
