@Hathur Your cousins do get that money is absolute no problem on Russia's side. They build this stuff themselves, in contrary to your regime, which is mainly ruined not by Russia but by NATO thanks to a gigantic mountain of debt for weapons, which only make west Ukraine and its people die much more. West Ukraine could have gotten out of that with ZERO damage (well, beyond what they lost in their disgusting civil war against the Donbass, but that's their own fault). Now it's very unlikely that anything will be left after this. Ukraine wasn't rich before all that. Now it will have lost the majority of its GDP while it debt multiplied by 5 and more. And the west is one of the worst being you should be in debt to.

The function of a tank is to ... tank = draw fire and force the enemy to act or move. It's the reason why it is so heavily armored. Else you could just drop the armor - and have an assault gun or (when you increase the firing range) an artillery. The offensive power of a tank is a joke in comparison to other system, starting with its terrible low firing range for a system of that size, weight and cost.

Assault guns are pretty much tanks without being tanky, so mainly a moving cannon.

Any tank, idiot. And when the turret is tossed, that hit would have killed anynone inside anyway. Humans are WAY squishier than ammunition.

@hayleyxyz Child, Ukraine got many hundreds of Russian tanks, many hundres sent by NATO alone. You see any of them? No, because Russi destroyed them. Majority of obliterated tanks are Ukrainian tanks, their own and from NATO countries. And none of the western tanks are any better. When you see them survive, that's just them being immobilized by a mere drone or mine, that's just normal. What you never saw of a single western tank is doing anything wortwhile before being stopped for good. Overall tanks lost most of their meaning. They got a small role left in combined arms warfare and they are doing that, though this role is mainly about be fired at - and making it back is a bonus at best.

More armor/layers is ALWAYS better, the question is if the downsides don't make it worth it. A big problem with just armor itself by mass is that mass = weight. Layered armor is in genral better, because energy will be much more dispersed, but of course it's not that easy to just add layer over layer. What you got here is simply a light extra layer, that - while not being strong enough to stop almost anything - is still something you have to overcome, you can't just pass through. So in general this means, that you have to release the energy of your warhead a lot earlier than you could with out that. And while this layer will not stop the enery, it absorb a bit and - what is more importat - furthe diesperses it. This all adds up to reduce the impact on the actual armot of the tank - it's plain physics.

@دمالأسد-ب4ص Ukraine pretty much lost when it let the coup happen in 2014. Then it lost again when it started a civil war, divind the land, losing Crimea and Donbass forever - mainly by that civil war. Then it lost even more by not following Minsk 2 agreement and instead becoming a full NATO sacrifice... Regarding this conclict now: impossible to win for Ukraine in absolut any way. It's even worse: Russia went in to secure the Donbass and make sure it and Crimea would not be attacked any longer by westenr Ukraine. Could have accepted that and western Ukraine would be as fine as it can be after all that. Instead western Ukraine now got a good chance to cease to exist, not even by damage, not even by the hundredsthousands of lives lost and who knows how many millions even who might never come back, but those who remain now got a gigantic debt and that toward the worst people you can be in debt in: our 'free west'. After this, when you add up the debt and compare it what will be left of the GDP, we talk about 400-500% yearly GDP in debt, if not more. It's insane. And all because their crazy regime sold out the country and its people to NATO as cannonfodder...
